Doing Business in the Middle East

ONLINE WEBINAR

Exports from Ohio to the Middle East saw a sound annual increase of 20.2 percent in 2020, reaching 1.8 billion dollars. More recently, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) considered the regional economy has bounced back from the pandemic and is in many ways now stronger and more resilient than ever, yielding solid opportunities for business.

Regardless of size, industry, or experience of a company, entering the Middle East market for the first time presents a multitude of options and challenges, and we want to help you understand the intricacies involved in establishing a presence in the region.

In this webinar, Ohio UAE in-country representatives, Anne Jafery & Jita Singh, and CSU international trade advisor and professor, David Delgado, will discuss the technical aspects of conducting business, as well as cross-cultural competencies that will help set American businesses up for success. Participants will learn how companies from any industry can leverage Ohio's International Market Support program to investigate market opportunities.

Program will conclude with a discussion on the upcoming 2024 Ohio trade mission to Arab Health.
