Carter’s BBQ is catering and food truck business. It came out of the passion of doing what you love. Owner Darren W. Carter has spent countless hours perfecting his love for grilling and taking the craft to the next level. He and his wife, Theresa, strive to bring you the best BBQ prepared with the love of what they do!
Share your recent business success!
The most recent success is being able to level up our business to go mobile and raise funds to purchase a BBQ food trailer! We were able to secure funds via crowd funding in a partnership with Honeycomb Credit.
How did the SBDC at CSU help you?
The CSU SBDC was instrumental with building our business plan and actually getting a personal introduction to Honeycomb Credit via Jessica Yox, CSU SBDC’s Accounting and Finance Advisor. I have had previous business ventures in the past and I would run away from doing a business plan. And yes, those businesses are no longer viable.
Jessica helped me step by step to complete my plan via LivePlan and help me put our voice and personalities into our business.

I have recommended a friend who is a personal trainer to the CSU SBDC.
