We are finishing up our fourth season in business! The pandemic resulted in many challenges industry-wide, from a major increase in demand to parts availability issues. We're so thankful for the support of our community throughout this season, and we're looking forward to 2021.
How did the SBDC at CSU help you?
I needed a recommendation for the Cleveland SBA Muni Grant that we are applying for at our new production space. Katie wrote a recommendation and referred me to Jessica, a consultant at the SBDC, to give me some financial advice and help me with my application. Jessica is now working on a new project for us – helping us determine pricing for our new production facility.
Have you recommended the SBDC to anyone?
Katie Van Dyke, the Director of the SBDC, helped us navigate the regulatory process associated with starting a business in Ohio. We also worked with an SBDC consultant to create our logo, a couple of accountants for sales and income tax support, and a digital marketing company to analyze our web presence. Most recently, we began working with a specialized consultant in marketing through the CARES Act funding for existing small businesses.

SUCCESS UPDATE: Recently, a production facility opened in Midtown with goals to expand Luna’s wholesale offerings and product outreach.
